July 7, 2010 (Hampton Falls, NH)-- The New England area's hottest show jumping event, the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, and EquineSite.com, the go-to online resource for the New England and New York equestrian community, will be posting exclusive interviews with top riders leading up to the September event. In depth questions will be asked of elite show jumping competitors from the northeast and their answers will be posted on EquineSite.comon a web page dedicated to the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic - the site's featured event.

"We felt the local equestrian community and the fans that have supported the Jumper Classic for more than twenty years, plus the many riders we have in our area, would enjoy this unique focus on the competitors who ride in the show," said Melissa Lovasco, President and CEO of the Jumper Classic.

Mark Amirault, Vice President of EquineSite.com added, "This is a great opportunity for EquineSite.com readers to get to know the human and equine athletes that are gearing up for this exciting event in our own back yard." Equinesite.com was founded in 1999 in Goffstown, New Hampshire, and has reached the milestone of more than 200,000 visitors to the site each month, including a loyal base of local riders.

As the countdown is on for the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, the first in the series of interviews with the show's exhibitors begins with Victoria Birdsall who, at 16 years of age, was ranked High Junior Jumper Rider for 2009. This year she won the prestigious George Morris Excellence in Equitation Exhibition. A resident of Topsfield, Massachusetts, Victoria competes on the east coast circuit while still achieving honors in high school, and competed against Olympic riders in the $75,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix in 2009.

The next interview will give a unique perspective on what it's like to not only compete in the sport but also design the course that challenges the horses and riders at different levels. Eric Hasbrouck, who has served on the Olympic Selection Committee for the past two years and has won major Grand Prix competitions throughout the U.S., will share his insight as a rider, course designer, and trainer out of The Pavilion Farm in North Salem, New York. Hasbrouck will be designing "smooth riding technical courses" for Ring Two of the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic, preparing the young horses for the larger classes.

More interviews will be featured as the time nears for the September event. "Stay tuned to EquineSite.com for updates and to learn more about the athletes in this Olympic sport that will be coming to Hampton Falls, New Hampshire at the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic. We hope our readers will look forward to coming to the show to see these riders in person when they compete with their fantastic horses," said Lovasco. "We also invite readers to come to the 'Elite Shavings Meet and Greet' on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. in the SmartPak Equine Riders Tent to get the chance to really meet some of the celebrity riders and learn from them."
